Too much overtime and overly strict attendance policy
Assistant Miller (Former Employee) – Lincoln, NE – June 21, 2018
Every Monday was a down down for preventative maintenance and we are expect to work 12 hours every Monday. We worked 7 days week for about 8 months with no days off. paychecks were great, about $1,100 a week, but not worth all the missed family time. Good job for single people. Plant management get bonuses based on how much money they don't spend out of their departments budget, so it was not uncommon for machines to break down completely before anything would even start to be done. Fairly common to go entire shift without a break. Attendance is on a point system. 1 minute late is .5 points. Call in is 1 point. Forgetting to clock in or out is .5 points. Missing 2 or more days with doctors note is 2 points. Same with out doctors note is based on how many days one missed. Accumulate 10 points in a 53 week period and one is terminated.
