Great place to work when the agency is not in a deficit!
Program Supervisor - Family Education & Support (Current Employee) –  Tucson, AZAugust 11, 2019
Constant changes causes the agency to run into a deficit. If you can look beyond that, it is a great place to work. Try to work in a program that is not grant funded.

Behavioral Health Case Manager (Former Employee) –  Chandler, AZJuly 30, 2019
I am rooting for AZCA. Recent changes in funding have had an impact on behavioral health but overall it is a great company to gain experience at. AZCA really cares about clients and offer a lot to employees where they can

Therapist review
Therapist (Current Employee) –  Tucson, AZJuly 29, 2019
As most nonprofits there is a high turn over. Case loads for therapists are from 30-40 clients. Managers are very supportive and try to meet your needs. Productivity with be reviewed often. Managers will work with you to meet productivity. Salary provided meets living standards in area. For Tucson, you can persue therapy position in BH or Las Familias (childhood sexual abuse specialty services).

Case Manager/ Recovery Coach (Current Employee) –  Tucson, AZJuly 24, 2019
Pay is low, stress is high, low PTO/Sick. High case loads and lay offs on my first day! Poor training and lack of moral makes this a hard pass! I can't wait for my phone to ring!

CM (Former Employee) –  Phoenix, AZJune 11, 2019
There are a lot of wonderful people at ACA . Most are dedicated and passionate about helping those in need. There can be a lot of stress trying to help the clients with sometimes limited resources.

Client Services Representative (Current Employee) –  Chandler, AZ 85225March 24, 2019
I beieve in the mission that Arizona's Children Association has however I strongly believe that management should consider the opinions of staff before making some decisions and changes. Everyone's job is different so I think if they don't know what the job is they should ask a staff member before considering making changes
Pros
friendly, relaxed atmosphere, great mission
Cons
changes without consideration of consequences to organization

Case Manager (Former Employee) –  Chandler, AZJanuary 21, 2019
The people at ACA are great to work with however towards the end of my time at ACA, Toughest part of the job - Care managers are the 'middle man' between families and services which is a very tough position to be in.

Summary review of AZCA
Targeted Case Manager (Current Employee) –  Chandler, AZDecember 19, 2018
A typical work day at AZCA can be stressful due to the amount of clients and families assigned to your caseload You will learn how to manage and prioritize your work day and scheduled appointments. The hardest part of the job is not being allowed to give 110% quality services to each and every one of your clients and families due to the overload of your caseload. The most enjoyable part of the job is completing the work week knowing that you have given your best.
Pros
you can earn flexible in office work hours.
Cons
it is a disadvantage to take a break during the work day

Cons
Reports and driving time
