There is no work/life balance. The pay is okay, but compared to what you deal with on a day to day basis it is not nearly enough. They force you to contribute to APERS and the rate for that keeps increasing. Employee evaluations are a joke. No one cares about the employees as long as things are getting done. You only get any kind of feedback when you've done something wrong.
