Work & Life Balance

Good training and Management
The training was good and my Management was very helpful. My coworkers were friendly and inclusive. They really seem to care about their employee’s success.

Avoid. Constant turnover. Coworkers see each other as competition and not peers. They claim to want constructive feedback, but will retaliate if you do not fall in line. Poor employees get promotions while strong loyal ones do not simply based on connections. Multiple branches have seen their entire staff turnover in less than a year. It is a credit union that wants to be a bank so it does a poor job of being either.

A typical work day included coming in at 8:30 and working as a team to assist members to the best of our abilities. We let members know of products that could help them, whether it be a loan or an account. The goal was to help them to succeed in their financial goals. I worked with a great team and I felt like upper management cared and desired to see employees succeed and move up within the organization.

Laid back environment. Co workers were pretty friendly and helpful to others. Works hours are great because you only work Monday through Friday. Being closed on Saturdays and Sundays helps keep that balance between work and home.

The culture in this organization has changed TREMENDOUSLY!! There has been a bunch of turnover in the last couple of years, even in executive leadership and management. At one point, there was only one two African American women in a leadership role and now there's only one. They don't believe in promoting within and their numbers are starting to be more important than their members or employees. Maybe the CEO should come out of his office and REALLY see how his company's being ran; unless he knows and chooses to do nothing about it. Please stay far away from here. Most of the current employees are only there until they find something else. Their new "culture" has caused many to retire, and either voluntarily or involuntarily leave.
