A day at AFMC
Specialist/Educator-EOTS (Former Employee) –  Little Rock, ARJuly 11, 2018
start the day by returning voicemails that were left previously, its a medicaid contracted company that provides assistance to our statel DHS office, management has very high expectations with very little help, the atmosphere is pleasant until quarterly reporting and everyone is on pins and needles, the most enjoyable part of the job was when there was staff appreciation days.
Cons
not a 40 hr a week job

Administrative Medical Support- Clinical Review (Former Employee) –  Fort Smith, ARFebruary 18, 2018
Easy going place to work. Upper management is terrible but the supervisors on site are all wonderful. No advancement. Low pay. But you don’t do much. Raises are low. Very flexible work life balance. Hours are awesome. You won’t find better benefits! Definitely could use more training. Phones ring non stop and you aren’t trained properly on how to answer the questions the providers have. Have many employee games and appreciation days. Could be a little more personal and allow staff to talk and get to know each other a little more.
Pros
Hours. Benefits. Great supervisors.
Cons
Pay. Raises. Phones. Review Director.

Outreach Specialist RN (Former Employee) –  Little Rock, ARDecember 2, 2017
AFMC is a great place to work. I was with them for almost 7 years. Our government contract was not renewed so we had a workforce reduction. I would still be there if it was not for that. The benefits are excellent, and work place was a great experience.

Great Place to Work, highly recommend!!
Clinical Review Specialist (Current Employee) –  Fort Smith, ARMarch 25, 2017
Pros: good benefits, good people, small enough that you aren't a number, lots of longevity, little stress, flexible work days; many others
Cons: very little contact with others, if that is important to you, work in an office setting but there is very little interaction or involvement with those around you; you can work 3 cubicles away from someone and never really get to know them;

Great Organization
Computer Support Specialist (Former Employee) –  Little Rock, ARMay 10, 2014
During the first three years the organization was an absolute wonderful place to work but as outside competition grew and upper level management started to fall like the leaves on trees in Fall, it became very stressful and difficult to work there. I still have nothing but great memories of the workplace and would recommend anyone to working there. I just personally became tired of the revolving door of management. I am sure that it has became more stable since I worked there.
