A great spot to learn 3PL operations
Assistant Warehouse Manager (Former Employee) –  Greencastle, PAJuly 16, 2018

Relaxed Culture- Pay Well Below Par
Transportation Analyst (Current Employee) –  Pittsburgh, PAMay 10, 2018
The culture is relaxed and everyone within the company is friendly. That being said, the company does not offer competitive wages. If you work hard to make your business unit a success, it will not be reflected in your salary. I am currently paid hourly and would lose money if I were to be promoted because the company does not factor overtime pay in when evaluating raises for promotions. Only base salary is considered.

International Supply Chain Coordinator (Current Employee) –  East Point, GAMay 9, 2018
Extremely manual process and very limited training. The majority on the individuals have been with the company have been there for more than 20 years so your are trained as if you have the same knowledge as your counterparts.
Pros
Relaxed environment
Cons

Consider only if you are looking for experience.
Anonymous (Former Employee) –  Pittsburgh, PAMarch 20, 2018
Armada is a company that supports a younger, more progressive, work culture. That being said, they also support lower wages and company functions geared toward single workers with no children.

While the work can sometimes be very demanding, you can gain an exceptional amount of experience and move to other departments in the company. Promotions are mostly given to younger workers with advanced degrees (education is more important than experience at Armada).

Management can be hit or miss. There are some managers that are very knowledgeable and there are others that you wonder how they ever got their position. The company often has purges where they will suddenly decide a position is no longer needed and terminate one or more managers at the same time.

Overall, if you are looking for experience to add to your resume, this is an excellent company to work for. If you are looking to further your career and expect a livable wage, I would strongly recommend against taking a job with them.
Pros
Free lunch on Thursday, company outings.
Cons
Low wages, favors younger workers over older.

I would recommend this job for anyone looking for great pay and good hours. At this company I always met my job standards and at times went above and beyond. They have an incentive pay as well designed with there computers, based on your performance you can take advantage of this opportunity for more pay.

Growing Company - has Pros and Cons
Analyst (Current Employee) –  Pittsburgh, PAFebruary 26, 2014
As a growing company you encounter the typical problems. It was a good place to start a carrier in logistics but fails to have a concrete development/training program.
Management/Ownership has changed and seems to be steering the company in a different direction.
Pay for most is not the best but is a livable wage. Lunches are provided on Thursdays and they do provide a Rec room with some recreational activities.
It is a job with the busiest and most difficult time being around the holidays.
The most enjoyable part of the job is commiserating with your coworkers and that work never stops and your day does pass quickly.
Pros
Free Lunches, day passes quickly
Cons
Wages, workload, benefits
