Put value into your long term entry level people. People spend their life with this company and end up leaving for less just because they are valued at that new job. The politics to move up are ridiculous.
They need to allow sick pay and leave on top of their already horrible PTO structure. They could make it a perk after being employed for the first year.
They demand mandatory over time, and have sick and contagious people work even though their own health clinic doctors says they shouldn't be handling samples.
The laboratory testing areas would be made impossible to access except for those that actually do testing. The testing employees could then focus on testing and not be distracted by dodging career-ending politics.

It's been on a downward trajectory for 8 years now. They've cut benefits, reduced wages for some categories, burnt out countless technologists to the point where some have left the industry; all while celebrating record earnings.
They demand their employees "continue to improve;" while they've consistently declined as an employer. There's no making it better. It's a cultural problem.
Change the disciplinary structure and have admin that have actually done the job. Also need to have some decent management classes dealing with how to be compassionate. Analytical types should not be managers without learning people skills
Get more health care administration backgrounds in charge. Less HR and other bureaucracy.
