Mismanaged company
Finance (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILMay 23, 2018
Very badly mismanaged company by previous management team. New team is trying to improve but it will take a long time. A lot of people are in roles they shouldn't be in and it shows.

I got laid off...
Culinary Technician (Former Employee) –  Romeoville, ILMay 12, 2018
Run away. This company bought the company I was at and then did a sweeping lay off and laid off some good people...including yours truly. I have no respect for this company what-so-ever.
Pros
The job function was good while it lasted
Cons
Cut throat business, bottom line driven.

Mixer Operator (Former Employee) –  Newark, CAApril 30, 2018
Started each day by getting mixer papers from the supervisors office, then go the the mixing room to fill out the paperwork. Gathered each ingredients lot numbers and talked with the previous shift mixers about any information that we may need to know. Accurately measure ingredients to recipe standards, then combine measured ingredients into a mixing bowl and proceed to operate the mixer.

They work you like a dog
Material Handler (Former Employee) –  Romeoville, ILApril 25, 2018
If they see that they can make you work harder they do. HR does absolutely nothing. Supervisers walk around on there phones. 0 training. Coworkers will try to undermine your work so they look good and supervisors/managers just let it happen
Pros
Its something
Cons
Its everything you'd expect working at a factory

sinking ship
Manager (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILApril 11, 2018
Company has severe problems for years. Change of leadership team was only a temporary glimpse of hope. But latest lay-offs showed that they have no new ideas to turn this company around.
Pros
very little comes to mind, some good people - but rare after most of the good one's decided to leave
Cons
lots of cons.....unorganized, spineless and underqualified people at the VP level, no career development, short staffed in almost every department

Production Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Cayce, SCMarch 28, 2018
I was a production supervisor and the job was fine, but there was really no room for advancement. The only expected you to do one job and not worry about any thing else.

We used to have a game room
Credit/Debit Analyst (Current Employee) –  Ogden, UTMarch 20, 2018
The culture at Aryzta was pretty much do you work. It was not a stressful place but some customer could cause one to be stress. The dress code was casual and everyone was pretty laid back. But due it being a contact center. One had to remain professional; and deal with the customer's in a professional manner. There was some days where we had fun, but it could not be distracting where the customers would hear on the phones.
Pros
provided breakfast, allowed personal time, pleasant work environment
Cons
No room for advancement

SHIPPING/RECEIVING CLERK (Former Employee) –  Northlake, ILMarch 8, 2018
If you can deal with cold temperatures then it is a good job. If you aren't fluent in Spanish you might have a tough time communicating with some of the workers.

Outstanding Company to Work for
A/R Analyst (Current Employee) –  San Leandro, CAMarch 2, 2018
A typical day consists of following up on emails or recorded phone messages, interacting with customers on a daily basis. Working from my aging report, contacting customers whose account has gone past 30 days delinquent. I learned SAP, EXCEL, OUTLOOK AND MICROSOFT OFFICE. Management is very in touch with their employees and work very closely to make sure they are successful in their job duties. The hardest part of the job is to stop eating the cookies they provide to you.
Pros
Breakfast every Friday, Monthlyl Birthday Celebrations, cookie giveaways
Cons
none
