NJ. I would hire a knowledgeable ED with nursing experience. I would respect the clinical staff's professional judgement and experience. I would also encourage my staff to have a healthy work-life balance instead of telling them that their personal lives do not matter and they have to work late whenever they're told to. I would not allow any of the managers to berate the staff either in front of the team or in private. I would also invest in a new software program and tablets that would help the clinical staff do their charting in an efficient manner

Management is downright abusive to staff Everything is about the numbers and patient care is not a priority once an admission is completed.
Management wastes time with constant meetings and conference calls that pull you away from actually seeing the patients and doing your job.
I would definitely not allow these people to take care of my family member.
