Poor executive leadership, poor (if any) bonuses, long hours

Assessment Technologies had a great reputation with strong retention and great bonuses. New executive were hired and ATI was rename Ascend Learning. Frequent hiring followed by layoffs, out of control spending, and rumors of kickbacks to top execs. Very high turnover. Went through 3 programming teams in less than 2 years. Most of the talent has left the company.
