In my 13 years of working as a SLPA, Ascend is one of the best companies I ever worked for .1. Employees are always well appreciated for their work.2. Ample opportunities to grow.3. Different settings option.4. Plenty of support available in different layers.5. Company invests in the growth of their staff by providing professional development days( paid PD days), on going trainings etc.6. One of the best payer in the market.7. Job culture is very diverse and everyone is well respected.8. Management is always ready to listen to your concerns and make necessary changes.9. Great mentorship.10. Has so many experienced veterans working for Ascend that you always have someone to help you.Overall I am very excited and satisfied to be working with Ascend and would recommend it to anyone looking to grow, learn , be successful while being paid good for that.

Pure garbage

This company is full of pure garbage. The staff make it seem that they care about you but they don't. They overwork ALL of their employees and high management are mean and very toxic and they do not care about their employees or their clients. If I could rate this company 0 stars I would. Do not ever apply here and do not fall for their garbage because that's exactly what you are going to get as soon as you step foot in this company. You are better off working at another company where the the high management cares about your mental well being because clearly these people don't care and only care about making bank. It's not worth it and just save your time and not waste it here.

Ascend is a company that truly cares for each individual person. They work with you to resolve any issues you might have, such as high caseloads, long commutes, etc. Being a school SLP is not an easy job! We do have high caseloads and the assessments seem to never stop, BUT Ascend has little control over what school districts give us. What Ascend CAN and will always do is advocate for their employees, find help when it is needed, and work WITH you to ensure you get what you need. They also offer great benefits and resources to keep their employees healthy and happy. Honestly, I've never worked for a more caring company. Even in the most stressful times, I know Ascend has my back.

Great place to work at and lots of improvements! - Startup like culture/ family environment, very friendly people- smaller company, lots of room to grow- CEO is very personable and really passionate- Ability to building out different process/ process improvement
