Environment extremely stressful and over worked
Consultant (Former Employee) –  Washington StateMarch 19, 2018
Management has a complete gap of understanding of over all operations. It is truly sink or swim environment. Leadership will allow you to fail. You will work hard and never be recognized. There is a small boys/girl club" in leadership, "clicky" and they will throw you under the bus.
Cons
too many hours, weak leadership, and no work like balance

Client Success (Current Employee) –  Washington StateAugust 17, 2017
Initially things started off good at Ascentis, but lack of direction, failure to investment in company and employees lead to its initial decline.

One of the main issues is lack of money for resources which include technology and staffing.
Pros
Free snacks, benefits
Cons
Low pay, no advancement, legacy technology

Sink or Swim
Client Support Representative (Former Employee) –  Roseville, CAMay 29, 2017
Too much turnover. No real support from management. Absolutely no employee training. Client training is more informative in learning ins and outs of software. You are tossed into the pool and expected to swim from day one. Management promises that they are there for you, but they are really just covering their own behinds and will not hesitate to toss an employee under the bus at the first sign of client dissatisfaction.
Pros
Free sodas and snacks
Cons
Pressure cooker environment from management. No support or training.

Integration Services Project Manager (Former Employee) –  Bellevue, WAMay 17, 2017
The company was a lot of fun "back in the day", but has since turned in to an under-staffed, over-worked environment. I thoroughly enjoyed my job, but was not provided the resources needed to be successful.

Very high turnover! Over worked. Poor management!
Payroll Specialist (Former Employee) –  Roseville, CAFebruary 19, 2016
Worse company I ever worked for. Very high turnover. Poor training. Managers are not experienced in managing employees. The managers have a heavy work load and do the same work as their employees so they cannot focus on managing their teams. Most employees are nice.
Pros
Lots of work to keep you busy.
Cons
Poor pay. Horrible management. High turnover. No support.

Overall not bad
Employee (Current Employee) –  San Mateo, CAJuly 8, 2015
Not a bad company to work for but in certain positions you are pigeon holed and it takes forever to get any advancement or growth. Company is also very tight with money and salaries are not competitive at all.
