I applied as an operation manager and I got an email about an interview opportunity. The interview was a typical interview talking about leaderships and situational encounterment as to how we can handle the situation. However, what I did not like about the whole process was communicated via email. I replied back to the email as to my availability for an interview and we agree onto the date. On the day of the interview they changed the location on me and that they did not bother to contact me via phone but instead email. I checked my email 20 minutes before the interview as well as I got to the initial location earlier because I don’t want to get lost when driving there. Sure enough I had to rush myself to the other side of town for this interview and stressing out about the situation. On and all for more professionalism they should at least call you and notify the last minute change up.

Listen to employees, do not make them feel devalued or like a number. Focus the issues brought up by members and staff instead of brushing them to the side.

I felt very rewarded. I had great relationships with the customers and my staff. I was good at my job and could feel it. I used this as a learning opportunity. I worked my way around the company and learned a lot of skills but I dreaded it once I was there most days due to poor treatment by the company owners, harassment, and lack of gratitude. It was also very hard to see how these customers are treated for the sake of money. I often felt sick when I got home for having to collect large balances or deny large refunds that I felt should have been approved.
