Awful Environment
Accountant (Former Employee) –  Wayne, PANovember 5, 2018
This was one of the most depressing departments I had ever been a part of. Management is a joke, and the supervisor could care less how you were doing at your job and if you needed help. The marketing side was a much happier place and could show the accounting side a thing or two.
Pros
New office
Cons
Culture, management, communication

A fantastic place to work
Manager, Customer Care (Current Employee) –  San Antonio, TXJune 15, 2018
AssetWorks does a fantastic job of promoting a work/life balance. While the staff are incredibly knowledgeable, it is the personal relationships you build here that mean the most. I thoroughly enjoy the day to day experience with co-workers, the collaboration, and the desire to be successful that is shared across departments.
Pros
Hands on management, paid time off, relaxed work environment

Fast Paced, but worth the time and effort. Great Culture
Sr.Manager Customer & Technical Services (Current Employee) –  San Antonio, TXJune 15, 2018
As a company that has under 100 employees it requires everyone to know their role and strive for greatness. The culture at AssetWorks nurtures that feeling and encourages each employee to do there best in a day to day setting. There is transparency from top down on vision and direction of the company as well as how well the company is doing financially. This company will allow you to go as far as you want to go as long as you are willing to put the work in and maintain that level of excellence.
This job can be stressful, but what IT job is not. the camaraderie is exceptional and turnover non-existent. Through bonuses you are incentivized to do your best everyday for the company to succeed. The best thing i can say about AssetWorks is that it does not feel like a job!
p.s. you are always working on the latest technology and pushing boundaries. The job is never boring!
Pros
co-workers, technology stack, solid management, family centric
Cons
if your not good at time to time stressfull situations not the place for you.

Change in direction
Director of Technical Services (Current Employee) –  San Antonio, TXJune 26, 2017
Typically most days are challenging. Positions in the company are not well defined and your job duties may change quarterly. If more staff was hired then work load could be balanced. Achievements are not really recognized within the company.
Pros
Coworkers have a personal relationship with each other
Cons
Jobs not well defined. Job expectations change quarterly

Great company with lots of opportunity
Sales (Current Employee) –  Wayne, PAMarch 9, 2017
AssetWorks is a really great place to work. In Wayne, PA, the company has the culture of a small entrepreneurial company yet it is an independent subsidiary of a very large high performing public company (Constellation Software) whose stock market performance matches many of the highest flying tech companies over the past 10 years.

The company is financially strong and growing which makes for a positive workplace experience. The focus on growth over the last five years has resulted in a lot of career development opportunities within the company as well along with the creation of new positions which is infusing new talent into the company and leading to a lot of exciting innovation.

The software we make has a real impact on the success of our customers and we have very positive relationships with our clients.

The management of the company expects a very high level of performance yet understand work/life balance which is a great combination if you want to be challenged at work yet have time for an active social / family life it is a great fit. Managers mostly operate with long term goals in mind and give employees a lot of freedom to find a way to contribute.

The company has an annual bonus that is tied to company performance and with the company growing, the bonuses have been rewarding.

I'd recommend AssetWorks to anyone who likes technology and has a strong business acumen.
Pros
Nice office, recently renovated. Great people to work with. Bonus
Cons
Benefits are average, some positions travel extensively

Extensive hours and hard work
Appraiser (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAJanuary 25, 2017
This job required a lot of traveling and long hours. At times the work was easy, but tedious. Extreme patience is required when dealing with each client. Each day I would have to look at buildings and assess their worth for insurance purposes. The job was rewarding, but it did require me to travel 8 months out of the year which made things very difficult.
Pros
Freedom in the field with bonuses
Cons
Too much time traveling

Advancement for those willing to work...
Developer (Current Employee) –  Spokane Valley, WAJanuary 2, 2017
They seem to go out of their way to recognize talent and foster innovation...but you can't be afraid of hard work. If you show initiative, you will be rewarded. There are occasional lapses in communication, but that depends on who your manager is...
Pros
Casual work environment, friendly and helpful coworkers
Cons
Management sometimes slow to communicate

Possible Crumbling Company
Senior Project Manager (Current Employee) –  San Antonio, TXJuly 7, 2016
Typical lack of management from the top down. Hard to get work from superiors. Some of the management bills clients for work not being performed to fudge their performance. Risky environment to work in.
Pros
Travel 100% of the time as needed
Cons
Growth
