Check on your management....they are not structured enough nor do they give everyone equal opportunity. I dont think managers, team leaders, and seniora should be running the team and not doing the work... a senior should do the work just as well because leaders are suppose to lead by example not just sit around and put the work on the rest of the team. They get paid to work not manage.

8 for now but was informed after i took the job that there is often MANDATORY overtime, sometimes 10 hours a week, which contradicts the interview, in which i was told of "occasional opportunity for some voluntary overtime."

Socially cold in some departments. Seasoned employees are often condescending to new hires. Very cliquey and managers are unprofessional and show blatant favoritism. Some team leads are rude and have no problem publicly dressing down employees in front of others. Anyone starting at the company in their thirties or forties must be prepared to be surrounded by twenty somethings who will not value their wisdom or experience and will make them feel excluded.

I hate it. Watch the clock every minute because stress, unprofessional management, and toxic teaming make it nearly intolerable. Ive had many jobs and have never felt this tortured, unappreciated, untrained, and miserable.

The work from home servers are very temperamental and you will get disconnected numerous times a day. It also takes so long to start the computer, connect, and load all the programs that you have to be at your desk for 20-30 minutes before being allowed to clock in.
