When certain people are made to feel inferior and go to HR about it they are paid back by being let go. Basically this company is bad for business for certain people

Fun to work for Google everything else was horrible
Technician (Former Employee) –  Seattle, WAApril 7, 2018
Working at Google was an amazing opportunity. However the management constantly is threating and yelling and screaming at its employee's. The stake holders are making broken promises to Google which they cannot keep and they take it out on the employees. Several Managers I have witnessed sit around and don't do anything. Don't even know how to put a computer together which is hilarious. Whatever you do RUN from this company it is awful!! I would never recommend the stress and and terrible wages it offers.
Pros
Free Lunch
Cons
Awful Management and Pay/Benifits

Home Hardware Support Technician Onsite (Current Employee) –  Santa Clara, CAAugust 24, 2017
A typical day consists of Inventory management and distribution projects. You will work closely with the Engineering team to act as a first line of defense to identify defective devices.

Workplace is great!
Senior Equipment Maintenance Tech at Google (Current Employee) –  Kirkland, WAAugust 19, 2017
A typical day at work is very hectic as I work in a team of four techs, supporting close to two thousand users. I have learned to work in a team in an extremely fast paced work environment with frequently changing processes and new technologies being introduced. Management bullies employees and constantly looks for reason to prevent techs from advancing their roles. Google as a workplace is fantastic with many perks and great users. Hardest part of the job is management continuously chastising. The most enjoyable is working with the latest technologies and grateful users.
Pros
Perks, latest technologies

Director of Sales (Current Employee) –  San Jose, CAJuly 7, 2017
Astreya Partners has a terrible fear-based culture and leadership is heavy-handed and non-empowering. This is not a company you want to get stuck working for. In a word. RUN.

Mobile IT Support Specialist (Current Employee) –  Mountain View, CANovember 9, 2016
Not recommended long term. The people were great but this place will serve nothing more but an experience builder. Recommended to stay for 6 months then move on.

Stay far away from this company if you are considering an internal HQ position
HQ Individual Contributor (Former Employee) –  Santa Clara, CAFebruary 12, 2014
This is the MOST unprofessional company I have ever worked for. The turnover is the highest I have ever seen in all the years of my career in high tech. Employees are fired or laid off for justifiable and unjustifiable reasons. The CEO (President) is a coward. He is NEVER around when someone is terminated. This company ONLY praises their "Favorites" everyone else who works hard is NOT acknowledged. I have seen a pattern and that is people are hired and once the company gets all they need out of that individual than they are let go. A lot of people voluntary quit for new opportunities because the corporate culture is the worst. There were some genuinely nice people there but most of them have left the company due to the unprofessional culture. You can't trust management here. Avoid at all costs.
Pros
Stocked kitchen with drinks, snacks and coffee and lunch once a week
Cons
High turnover (people are hired and fired all the time internally), Unprofessional company, Favoritism is obvious

They give you a skill set but lack everything else
recruiting (Former Employee) –  santa claraApril 29, 2013
This company is a mess... way too many people trying to accomplish what they want. Differing opinions on key business aspects and its caused this company to struggle. Their business is dwindling, no one works very hard unless being micromanaged and their leader is well... stubborn, arrogant and unwilling to take criticism. So he surrounds himself with Yes Men and Women. Not a recipe for success.

Easiest evidence is their turnover. I think the company might have 20% or so of the same people it did 2 years ago? The recruiting team is about to have a complete over-hall (as previously seen with HR, and Accounting) while the founder has his side projects and comes back just to make seemingly shortsighted positions.
Pros
You get to do a lot and no one notices what you are doing
Cons
No one notices. Very highschool drama filled, no career advancement, new sales model hasnt sold anything
