Best employer relationship I have ever had over a 40 year career.

What is the best part of working at the company?Quick response from my contact person. What I am told will happen is what happens.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?I was working in a position that I knew up front could suddenly end. (State agency) After two years it happened. But, there is always plenty of work available. Transition was fine.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Very straight forward. What I was told and what I experienced were consistently the same. When I had a need or concern, it was addressed quickly and effectively.What is a typical day like for you at the company?10 day treating maximum security level inmates. Plenty of prep time. If the number of inmates being treated on a given day was low, time to study. Over the months did a lot of online CEU coursework and study of APTA best practice material.

great agency

Great registry to work! My recruiter kept me in touch with every step when applying. So far no issues. It took me about two months to began my assignment.

Great team work

I enjoy working for a company that I trust. Very understanding to your needs. Notify ahead of time for personal needs. Company can offer medical. Company will work with you if you need to adjust your schedule. Paper work done via email, which was great no need to go to office or mail. If you have questions response time is immediately.

If you’re desperate or looking for something temporary

Worked at SVSP in Salinas. The state employees hate the registry nurses because we make more money than they do. Working in a prison is not for everyone but it’s not physically hard work. The agency, Astrya, messed up our paychecks every week. Training was way longer than we were told during the hiring process. Easy job. the area is awful. Salinas is not safe or clean. Astrya is responsive, however most of the time they lie and say whatever they can to get you to sign up with them. Everyone I started with quit within the first 2 months.

Good to work for this agency as an independent contractor for the CDCR prison system. Responses to inquires are answered promptly.Pay is competitive to other agencies.Very respectful to their contractors

Easily the best agency I have ever had!

I have been a LOCUM for over 15 years and I have finally found an agency that I will never leave. They offer the best rates, pay weekly, and are always available to speak on the phone. I don't ask for a lot, but no other agency I have worked with has been able to meet that minimum requirement. I feel that I am being treated fairly and dealing with an honest person that genuinely has my best interest at heart. This is such a welcome change from the typical staffing agency!

Competitive and Fun Work Environment

I love working for Astrya Global. It's a competitive and fun working environment. Every employee push's each other to be there best version of them self. Management has a great deal of experience and puts us in the best position to hit our goals on a daily basis. I plan on making this company my career!
