Hard But Rewarding Work

Working for Atalian is not for the faint at Heart. From Day One you are expected to give 100%. Your work will tell them far more than any interview question will. If you apply and are hired give it 100% otherwise don't bother. They believe in Battlefield Promotions so if your work reflects quality and pride you will advance very fast.

There is nothing and I do mean nothing good that comes from this company! Branch manager lies, demeans people, and doesn’t even know what goes on in the buildings! Pay totally isn’t even that good compare to what they put you through!!!

DO NOT consider working for Aetna Building Maintenance / Atalian Global Services at the DuPont Washington Works site! The manager and employees are nothing but unprofessional people! They doing nothing but stir drama and turn their backs on each other. Prepare to be blamed for everything and thanked for nothing! The manager’s assistant starts drama with all the employees and the manager does nothing to stop it. A bunch of uneducated people who can’t act mature. Horrible work environment. There is paid vacation, paid holidays off and benefits available but are too expensive to afford. Some of the buildings are over 100 degrees and they don’t expect you to take many breaks. The assistant is biased and will bully the employees. There’s constant drama and gossip between the assistant and employees. Nothing is ever done about it. I am making a call to the corporate office for a formal complaint. 0/0 do not recommend working here! RUN far away! Take less pay if you have to.

let's see where do i start? oh yeah my GM hired me and on my 1st night of work he left me there after 20 minutes. If I needed his support it was nearly impossible to reach him. I communicated with his boss more than i did with him. It took forever to get supplies, or anything needed. Safety was an absolute joke when i started there. It improved greatly during my time. I'd bet the farm its right back like it was before i was hired. overall a terrible company to work for. Most of the people at Corp don't know or care about supporting people. big mistake taking that job

I worked here a few months in the central upstate I really thought this was the job until things started going wrong with my boss who is the Vice President of the company. He's very passive and sweeps things under the rug and you as a manager have to deal with the non scense. I was let go in fairly but in the end for better. They had me cleaning and it wasn't my job description. If you say no they act like children and tell you your behavior is insubordination which in fact it isnt, especially if your a hard worker. Stay away. Corrupt lying people starting with higher ups.

Unless you just want something to do this job is FOR NOONE!!!!! No $$$$$ in it!!!! The people at the banks are so lazy they wont even push their chairs in!!! The bank manager complains whether you do a good job or not and the supervisor speaks DOWN TO YOU!!! THIS IS NOT A JOB FOR AN OUTSPOKEN PERSON!!

Managers are lazy liars and throw there work on you, without the pay. Can’t go to any of HR for any issues because it turns to complete gossip with everyone. Want to do a job well done but don’t work they self. Always messing with your pay and hours. Biases managers who look out for their people and screw the rest. This company is horrible, if you have a family or bills stay away.

Don't get me wrong it's very easy work and it's pretty laid back but after a while you get tired of doing everything by yourself while other people could sit around and watch. I don't get paid fairly and also there is no room for advancement. I've been promised a promotion for months and still haven't gotten anything especially after working extra hours and going to other locations to help, still nothing.

Vindictive and condescending manager, the pay would be greathe if it wasn't like pulling teeth to even get a paycheck(at the time of this posting I have yet to receive my first paycheck).the manager always wants you to work overtime and my location was short staffed. Disorganized work space mainly the closet for supplies and insufficient amount of supplies for proprely cleaning.

The uper management there is horrible. They are very under staffed and over work other lower management employees. No one wants to work there. Everyone they hire quit within 2-3 days of working there.

Had originally asked not to work alone and that’s exactly why I left, becoming “burnt out”. Cleaning approx. 50 rooms a night, in about a 5 hour period, and still got written up because my sweeping AND mopping weren’t good enough.

I’m an account manager, I love my employees, and the building I’m at isn’t bad. Pay isn’t worth the headaches, and upper manager could care less about you. Branch manager is very demeaning towards most of the employees, won’t help with anything you may have going on.

Everyone I worked with was exploited by the management. I worked night shift with 5 or 6 other people. The management was notorious for hiring incapable employees forcing everyone else to pick up their slack every night. I originally worked for them a few years ago for a couple of months but quit because of how horrible night shift is. Recently I reapplied (did not realize what company this was since they changed their name) and they:
1. Lied on their job posting. The posting I applied to said 2nd shift, when I got there to interview they basically said: "Oopsie! It's supposed to say 3rd shift!" On top of that they wanted to pay me a whole $1.50 less than what I was originally paid for MORE WORK as they were understaffed. I wonder why they're understaffed..?
2. Tried to guilt trip me into working for them. I left pretty abruptly (no 2 weeks) because I was so fed up with working for them. The same guy that originally hired me was running it again and tried to act like he was doing me a huge favor by hiring me again for less money, more work, and fake hours.
DON'T WORK HERE. The majority of the people you will actually work with are good people (even the lazy ones), but the people in upper management are real scumbags.

This is the worse company I’ve ever worked for..they can’t get your paychecks right.at orientation they set you up for direct deposit you never receive it they don’t order their cleaning supplies in time so you have to continually borrow from a different school the managers are down right rude!!!!they hire temps prior to background checks (illegal) one of them stole money from me out my own purse.. I can go all day but I don’t recommend this job to NOBODY!!

Worst company I have ever worked for my paycheck was always wrong I had to call every week because it was short I never had my supplies I needed to do my job they were always telling you one thing then changing it they were rude every time you tried to talk to them when i could even get ahold of anyone they never answer there phones I went 3 months before I ever met the boss they never say anything about the hard work you do

It's a simple gig of emptying cubicle trash, cleaning small kitchenettes, cleaning bathrooms, conference rooms, etc. 2nd shift hours and good group of co-workers makes things run smooth

Listen to headphones, not fast paced, appreciated just for showing up each night, pretty routine.
Cons
Understaffed or when somebody calls off, a little extra is required to take care of things.
