Great people to work with! If you’re looking to get into healthcare this is your first step, they’ve helped me develop my career and resume. Can’t recommend them enough.

A place to get your foot in the door…

Low pay for a lot of work sometimes you meet nice people whether that be other hospital staff or patients but some are not so kind even if you are kind to them. Upper Management can be lazy. Short staffed all of the time so it’s hard to take PTO. Expensive kitchen food even if you’re staff.

Great

A great place to work. Co-workers and leadership are fantastic. Could use some work on effective communication but other than that it's a great place to work.

Awesome place to work

Great place to work. Always treated fairly, well compensated. Good benefits, great PTO. Always seems to be room to move up; opportunity for internal transfers. No complaints at all.

Poor Managment

Easy work, but poor management in the department that makes the worse harder due to things such as lack of communication on important matters that can affect day to day life at work.

Great coworkers

My coworkers are great. As with any business, they are often understaffed and want you to do more with less. They try to keep engagement up with fun activities occasionally.

Pros

Great benefits

Cons

Senior leadership is in a bubble

Unsupportive managers and toxic culture

Administrators / managers do not care about their employees or patients. If you want to feel supported and want to grow your skillset- - look elsewhere. It’s a shame because they have some great doctors. Not worth dedicating your time to a place where you’ll go nowhere.

Good but management could be better

Decent 12 hour shift seeing 5-8 patients short staffed aLot of the time. I learned how to do dialysis.Culture could be better. The hardest part of the job is short staffingTreating my patients was the most enjoyable

ok place to work

Atlantic Health is a good company to work. I am not the type of person to always agree with a manager so dealing with those office managers can certainly be a big problem. You may be the best worker but if the office manager does not like you this is definitely a problem. You will be prevented from getting raises and moving forward. Unfortunately the higher ups that oversee the office manager do not reprimand the office manager if they are doing something wrong.

Poorly trained

I received 2 days off orientation/shadowing then was on my own. I was a PCT in the ED. No support, it wasn’t safe for patients. Ask for more training.

good company, fair to employees

Good company to work for , good benefits if you go in network.work/life balance depends on department you work at. Hard to transfer to other areas due to HR having to much to do.

Decent benifits

health insurance covers a decent amount. management could use some work and some better communication, its not an easy job but reward can be very great, there are some opportunities to advance but not many if you are not a nurse
