Treat people like people. If you wouldn't want to be spoken to like a peasant then dont speak to others that way. Also, stop the lies. Say only what you can do for the residents, and what you cant do dont say that you can. But, it doesn't bother the higher ups because they dont have to deal with the residents hands on so they can lie to the family and the residents.
Honor what i and the employee or interview candidate agree too. At least come close to honoring it. If not possible have the respect to tell him or her that we cannot make that possible.

Communication is a huge part in running any business, managers must be fair too employee's, and all treated w/ respect. Also"". If treated well, employee's would do anything for you dead lines if needed !! One other thing if they do something wrong back them up , I see a lot of managers throwing there employee's under the bus. I concentrate my efforts toward providing any of the services that would help to make things easier for the residents to have a more fulfilling time spent at said Atria Senior Living. As well as coordinate with staff to insure that this is sincerely accomplish. I would care.

Give better benefits to the workers. Hire ALL competent directors and managers. Realize that the employees feel neglected and unhappy by certain changes the company makes and fix them.
