More supervision over leadership is needed

More staff , better benefits. The insurance is horrid!!! Especially for the biggest health care organization!!!
Staffing could use a boost and all places have that problem so that’s where I would start. I would also give moral a boost as well.

Monitor the actions and manage people in leadership roles. This is huge! Managers in Atrium Health have tendencies to make their own policies and rules. Most do not even know company policies or even attempt to follow them. The hiring practices are more of a "good ol boys club" mentality. Your knowledge and experience mean nothing when it comes to applying for positions. You typically do not even get the courtesy of an interview because the hiring managers already have the person selected for the position and have made an offer before the job is ever posted. This is very discouraging and disrespectful to hard working teammates who are much more qualified than the person placed in many roles with no experience or qualifications.
Allow people with proven experience and knowledge to go back to work at the company even though they left 5 years ago for family reasons. I have applied to over 25 possitions. I have a great knowledge and experience, and I have previously been working for Atrium doing an excellent job. I am rehirable and I cannot understand why I have not had even one oportunity to an interview.
