Mostly seasonal work. In the winter the pace seems much slower. During the spring, summer and fall, there are days when you never get to stop for a break at all. The pace is generally very, very fast, and there are always projects going on.

You really need to reevaluate your priorities as a company. Spending money on special radio stations for the sake of customized commercials before getting scan guns to improve store efficiency are not intelligent decisions. Proper training for your HR dept should be seriously considered top priority as well as all managers at every level. Their wreckless decisions are a potential liability to your company. Less micromanagement over the little guys who are busting their butts every day in your stores and more attention at corporate level ignorance. Show your employees you truly care. THROUGH ACTION.

Specifically upper management would be the reason. The micro-management is frustrating and poor compensation is a known company issue. The corporate office keeps making decisions that negatively impact employees and they refuse to acknowledge their actions.
