positive work environment but poor pay

there is nothing wrong with this company except for the pay that the workers receive for the amount of work that they do.

It’s an alright job

The job it’s self isn’t bad since your day-to-day duties are always the same. The only complaints I have are inconsistent rules from management, lazy and shady employees, and constantly having hostile customers (you would be surprised how aggressive, angry, and petty people get over a pretzel). But, as long as you have a decent crew to work with, it really is a easy job. However, like all jobs it has it good and bad times but overall it’s what you make of it.

Pros

Flexible schedule and free food/drinks

Cons

Lazy and shady coworkers, hard to get raises

My first job ever

It’s was good at first because you need to do the training for three days to see if you are suitable for this job. It has flexible hours and you will get one hour break. I was lucky to get this job nearby my homeIt can be quite hectic at lunch time when the customers are waiting and you have to get everything on time. Make sure the foods are fresh. It’s horrible aswell when you get mistreated by your colleague and have to smile all the times with customers

Pros

Flexible hours, good place to work, free pretzels to take home

Cons

Standing, can be quite hectic at the times

Fast-paced work environment with many different variations of customers.

I would say that Auntie Anne’s is an excellent first job, but the pay is leaning more on the unjustified side. There is also barely any room for growth, who are looking to advance in their careers.

Pros

Free food and drinks.

Cons

Heavy favoritism among certain employees.

Coworker bullying

From the start-end working at auntie Anne’s was not a good experience for a first time job. The coworkers talk behind you back, they give you such a bad attitude. Causes your anxiety to rise up as well.

Pros

Free pretzels

Cons

Short breaks

Dear god please don't work here.

This job is horrible. The place is a mess. The customers are so angry. They can't keep staff at all. The pay isn't worth it at all. Save yourself some stress and apply sonewhere else.

Pros

Free food

Cons

Short breaks, no healthcare, broken equipment, low pay, no holiday pay

Horrible experience

The management is terrible at Auntie Anne’s in Woodstock, GA at the Outlet Shoppes of Atlanta. There is constantly no manager at the store, and they are severely understaffed.

Pros

Free food and drinks

Cons

Everything else

good first job.... minimum wage, mall

i think it's a good first job. it's fun getting to work in the mall. love all the free pretzels and drinks (though the pretzels get old after a while). It is a minimum wage job. slow days are slow but busy days are BUSY. it isn't too difficult of a job compared to a lot of other food jobs. smell of pretzels can get old. people are rude (but that's everywhere right?)

Pros

free pretzels and drinks, working in the mall, slow days are easy

Cons

short breaks (1 20 min break no matter how long you work), minimum wage, in a kiosk

Good job for college students

This job is great for college students who need a flexible schedule with school. Starting pay is good compared to most places, and there’s room to move up. However, when short staffed the workplace is very stressful with no breaks during a long shift unless you’re a minor. Frequently can get called in to work if someone’s unable to come in. Overall, I enjoyed my time here but management needs improvement and can push you to your limit.

Pros

Flexibility, Promotions

Cons

Barely any breaks, frequently short staffed

Productive and Fun

I really enjoyed my time here, but the schedules were very back and forth, never stable and usually the weekly schedule isn't how it plays out. Other than that, the people were cool and the job was easy.

Fun and positive workplace

I loved this job. My manager was easy to get along with, my coworkers were encouraging, and the job itself was pretty laid back. The rushes in the store are the most overwhelming part of the job but overall, this was a great opportunity for me.

Pros

Free food, great coworkers

Cons

Pay

Very unprofessional. Low pay. Bad Management

Very unprofessional management. You will not be trained properly. If you are a closed off or introverted person don’t bother, they hold it against you. Pay is not good. You get free food though.

Pros

Free food

Cons

Bad Management

Flexible hours but management is extremely lacking.

Flexible hours and many shifts available. Management needs work, they are extremely lacking. Do not offer enough aid to store managers outside of PA.

Pros

I made my own schedule

Cons

Management, Rich especially!

Flexible scheduling and good owners, otherwise pretty typical service job

I've been working here for over a year now, and it's a typical service job. Customers are going to be as nice or agitating as they want to be, definitely lower end of the pay scale, and mostly teens working there. Employee discount and free drinks are nice, the owners are also great and very accommodating.

Pros

Free Beverages, 50% off discount, week by week scheduling

Cons

Customers, average service pay, semi regular rotating crewmates, sometimes understaffed

Not a good place to work

I would not recommend working at this place. You worked very long hours with no breaks at all the only time you would have to eat is if there was no customer to interrupt you. Trying to get time off was always a hassle and even if you had something important to do they would always try to make you come in because they only hire a few employees. A lot of times you would be short staff so it would be very stressful and backbreaking to make the pretzels and deal with the customers. They would also rarely ever praise you and just scold you and always say something is wrong even if it has nothing to do with you and it's completely out of your control like not having enough customers come. They try to squeeze everything out of you with minimum pay. This place is a recipe for burnout.

Pros

Free food.

Cons

No breaks. Hard to get time off. Stressful.

Low pay, no room for advancement

Low pay & no room for advancement - this is really only a job for someone in high school just looking for some extra money. Don’t work here expecting a career

Poorly managed, underpaid, long hours

If you are under 18 or a young person, the current management will give you minimum wage. There is no overtime payment, no paid breaks, disrespectful managers. There are no rest breaks so you might have 8 hour shifts 4 days in a row. The managers don’t treat their employees well and threaten them with their authority. It is clear that they believe it is alright to treat their employees like low lives. Especially since most of the workers are young 16-20 year olds seeking work experience. They expect a lot from you while giving minimum wage. You’ll receive tons of burn marks so be prepared for some incidents at work. There is not a lot of benefits working here. I only recommending working here if you’re desperate for any sort of income. Otherwise, I would suggest working else where. They’re always hiring new employees because people realise how horrible the working conditions are. The only reason keeping me here is the free slushy and the sweetest coworkers excluding the managers.

Pros

One free food item, free water + slush, discounts for staff centre

Cons

Long hours, minimum wage, no rest breaks, no overtime pay, no paid breaks

Repetitive but fairly easy job

Had to remake the pretzels every time they run out in the case or if they are old which gets quite repetitive but other than that it was easy. End of the day clean up the building and that’s all.

Pros

Free pretzels and drinks, 30 min break, pay weekly

Cons

Repetitive work, not enough hours

Cool beginning job

You don’t get a lot of hours to work so the pay is low due to that. It’s definitely a good first job though to learn skills and things like that. Interview is short and sweet, mostly likely hired on spot.

Pros

Free food and flexible schedule

Cons

Short breaks

Stressful environment and the smell makes you sick.

I will never be able to eat another pretzel from here again. The smell makes you soooo sick! Also, it's extremely fast paced on the weekends and you have no time to sit down or take a break. But it's a good starter job with decent pay and its great for social people who don't mind tuning out for a few hours and just being on the grind.

Pros

free food, nice coworkers, long breaks

Cons

very stressful, no flexible shifts, and rude customers!
