There are many great, passionate people that work at APA. The 'boots on the ground' staff are typically very caring and fun people.
The environment overall is very unhealthy and unsafe. The facility is falling apart and filthy. Employees work in offices infested with rats, mold, urine and feces. Basic comfort needs for humans are often ignored.

You do not get sick days. You must use your limited PTO to cover sick days and if you exceed your PTO, you are not paid - even if you are salaried.

Do not slash and burn your volunteers. Listen to people, especially professionals. Try to improve your business practices. Take a business course or two, or hire a professional. Pay your entry level employees better and take home less money for yourself. When someone says they were discriminated against or harassed be professional and respectful and do a thorough investigation. Treat your employees well and they will give back to you. Resign?
