Depends on the department. In the state office the hours are 8-5 with an hour lunch, but I know several employees that work different start and end times that fit around their family/life. The main Raleigh office is open 8:00-4:30. Direct care workers can be a lot different, depending on the employee needs and the needs of the family and client.
