Fact is that you can expect to work up to 80 hours per week... if your a flag tech, you can expect to not be paid for every hour you work because you get paid by the job. Sometimes it works out, other times it doesn't.
For line mechanics, don't expect to have a life outside of work. We were expected to be there for 10 hours a day. It was also difficult to take a one hour lunch break because co-workers and managers couldn't read a clock and would accuse any who took a full lunch break of taking "too loog". All and all expect to work 50-60 hours a week with no overtime.
Don’t plan on having a life after you go to work for them, they feel I think pretty much like you should work dawn to dusk and weekends for the corporate good.
Long and the General Manager at BMW of Bellevue Sean Zabihi makes you feel guilty for taking PTO or leaving early to spend time with your family. Sean also opened the service department up on Sunday. There are no other Setvice Departments open on Sunday.
I started with the company in the Tampa Bay area as a Service Advisor it was Monday thur Friday 7a.m. to 7p.m. and Saturday 8a.m. to 3p.m. and in 08 they started Sundays just a half day which after a few months became a full day with Saturday. In 09 I moved to an Atlanta store Monday thru Friday 7a.m. to 7p.m. half a day on Saturdays and closed on Sundays. The hours are very long. For almost two years we had trouble getting good advisors and we were working six days a week with it one full weekend off. It was also hard to get time off.
Depending on the position, typically you will always work above 45 hours.

Expectation 40 h a week, reality 60+ hours a week, and be prepared to be fired if you complaint about it, and of course is a based salary , so don't expect more money for the extra hours
24/7 just like IHOP!
