There are so many bad reviews. The CEO and others at corporate level have this awesome brand idea and business development plan to meet the growing changes of the automotive industry - but at the ground level it's all the same ol' sleazy stuff. Local mgmt should be banned from working with human beings entirely - including and especially the customer.

Unreasonable expectations. Too much micromanaging. I was expected to call every service customer and beg for them to return a survey. I was even told to "buy" the survey by offering something free for a perfect score. I don't have contact with the customer, service advisors do that. They are the ones who lied, not me.

AutoNation is the worst company I have ever worked for. They keep cutting the pay but expecting more out of the employees. There is absolutely no incentive to do your job. They should realize that there is a labor shortage nationwide and that employees can leave and do the same job elsewhere for substantially higher pay. This policy has likely cost the company lots of revenue. Don't waste any time with this company.

I worked at the Buford, Ga Auto Nation. One of the worst jobs ever. Three girls would harass me daily. I was bullied by one in particular. Service Manager knew and did nothing. She was a nut herself. Talked about and trashed her mom. Service techs would lie about customers cars making customers spend money for repairs they did not need. It Management was always about techs getting a perfect score on surveys or you were out of a job. Bully company. Feel sorry for customers. I Should have reported to Georgia Department of Labor.

Profit above all else.
Must do everything 150% their way, no exceptions. All decisions are made by area rep and above. Managers don't/can't be bothered to train new hires, sink or swim.

Worked for them for 4 years. Hands down the most pathetic company anybody could work for. Corporate is filled with uneducated fools that run the company the exact opposite way that it should be. You would guess that a company in the automobile industry would be motivated to sell cars. They are in the business to sell stock to investors, not cars to consumers. Beware!!!!
