Not giving them themselves and other grey shirts two consecutive days off.... Or off Saturday coming in late on Sunday while I was scheduled to close at 9:15 Saturday and open for stock duty at 5Am on Sunday.... I cant even wind down for bed in an hour, so that's giving me maybe 5 hours of sleep while one guy was scheduled off the day before stock day.......ignorance at its finest.

Auto Zone asks what can be done to retain workers. Many fine suggestions but why ask if you will not emplement any suggestions. Proper psy. Not minimum wage. Start at $10 pre hr and > properly < train employees. Don't leave learning to guessing and then chew on the newbie because. His lack of knowledge is due to management lazyness. They cannot know what you don't teach. You ask or prefer ASE certified people but you will not pay what they are worth & then you nit pick them because you are scared. Because they DO know more than you managers. Grow up and act like moral men & women. Use common sence, follow company rules. Up sell what the customer needs - not what you want to get rid of. Managers need trained on how to motivate emplyees by example NOT with threats or harrassment. Have some balls and take a true lead. Teach < your employees what they need to know & encourage them to learn more. .... If you pay low they will work slow - pay them a good wage and they will stay despite your rage. If you want good - responsible employees then treat them as You wish to be treated & not like your spouse treats you. What happened to your common scence & respect for your fellow man. If you can't do that don't expect great reviews unless you are holding a gun to their head. Common scence & respect are the keys to keeping employees.

Have the respect to listen to your employees thoughts, ideas and opinions on how to make things better instead of chewing them out and making them feel that they don’t natter whatsoever.

To much sexual harassment in your second shift in your warehouse in enfield ct. my daughter almost took her life, cause she was being sexually harassed. And when she told management they asked her if she was sure and what did she do to cause it. She started calling out sick cause she was afraid to go back to work. Your management team and worker need a class on sexual harassment.

Eliminate your attitude accept your responsibilities don't toss them to other coworkers just because you want to leave early treat red shirts right the way you like to be treated don't give negative feedback to your district manager just because a red shirt said no to a responsibility already addressed to a grey shirt just because they're your friend doesn't mean you gotta treat the red newbie as your personal peasant it is not their fault that a gray sure which means manager is lazy Too and is wrong and you guys should not (don't embarrass your coworkers in front of customers don't talk about them make fun of them you should be training them not putting them on the spot aren't you supposed to be in team example don't talk to them in a loudly strict voice to try and prove a point. Same way you want respect this is what they expect.

Stop telling your red shirts that it is their responsibility to push sales with an attitude don't threaten them that if they don't push sales they are going to have to cut hours and whatnot and people don't want to buy something hey it's not their fault it's probably the person and how much money they have in their pockets fault it's the society's fault no one's fault if a person brings one pair of shoes with a little bit of white and you send them home and another employee has black and white shoes don't keep them because they're your friends and let the other one go it's unfair just saying from experience felt like I was being judged physical appearance. I got sent and the other person stayed don't yell at your employees in front of customers take them outside as a professional store manager would don't try to have a private conversation in front of other employees to try to make me feel foolish as if they did something wrong especially if you are not doing proper training I got I never got proper trained and I got yelled at in front of customers to the point where customers would tell me why do you stay here it was my only job I need the money I have a child they feel bad for me I feel bad for myself even though their employees were saying I don't know why they treat you like that but you got to bite your tongue if you want to stay and I have a bad feedback on your resume.
