Corporate Buyout Killed Startup Culture

My 4 years with Avanade came directly following the buyout of Seattle-based Azaleos by Avanade. Over the next four years, I witnessed a once vibrant, collaborative workplace environment erode with the pushing down of corporate policies, dress-codes (for an Ops ctr!), a more cut-throat approach, and ultimately off-shoring.
A number of us were sent to Manila to train the new Ops Ctr.
Seattle Ops ctr was subsequently closed, and many let go. I understand the Charlotte Ops Ctr is next to go aside from a handful to handle white-glove clients.
I am not a fan of Avanade's approach to doing business or treating people who made sacrifices so the company could grow.
Great coworkers, excellent benefits, advancement opportunities earl on.
Off-shoring, corporate policies, lack of loyalty to hard-working good folks.
