Its like being punched in the gut

It's nice to look back at the question about the company future and see that some of the answers were wrong. I currently work here at the call center in TN...the new, extremely large facility with a view of the mountains & some of the best sunsets I've seen in a lifetime! I've been here since July 2019 and this company is only moving up and forward. Happy to report that "sinking ship" is now a Rocket Ship due to great employees, managers who work hard and care, and CEO's that strive to keep us all happy.

Had an interview with a consulting company they had hired for screening and a video call with the hiring manager. I pulled myself from the process after the second interview. The hiring manager had his phone on loud and interrupted in the middle of a question to show me he had a spam call coming in. This lack of professionalism set a stage for a flustered rest of interview. After withdrawing, the manager emailed and professionally thanked me for my time and said he had enjoyed speaking and my skillset, however, the feedback provided to the consulting company was exactly the opposite. I hope this was a one off experience and not a reflection of how Avant treats their employees and clients.

It was a very fast interview process, because they are desperate for employees with the extraordinarily high turnover rate. The turnover rate is so high because working there is completely depressing.

If you like being talked to like a child, this is the place for you. Management claims to care about the employees and begs you to come to them if you don't like something happening in the pay dept but if you voice your opinion you are fired. They do not have fun at work. It's a dictatorship. What they say goes. The lady running the pay dept is head clown. Most of the section managers are her favorites and they can do no wrong.
