To the person who posted this is a perdiem job, which doesnt provide any benefits or raised. That is not true. All home health Agencies are per diem. However, most home health Agencies DO have sick days and personal days off. As well as paid vacation days and time and 1/2 for holidays worked , whether it's over 40 hr a week or not. I agree with all of the bad reviews here, all of these things happen routinely at Aveanna
Why do the staff not understand what par.diem means??? All tjese complaints of no sick time pay, no paid vacations etc etc.......Per diem does not include those things..........all field staff are per diem.........so stop freaking complaining.......sheesh!
No sick time or PTO for field nurses even if you work full time.
Your PTO/sock hours are based on hours worked. Not sure when you become eligible for benefits now, but when Obamacare was passed, they were forced to offer some sort of health care to all field staff.
You get no sick time if you are a field nurse.
I believe you get like ten days total but that may differ if you are friend with the management. It all was contingent on favoritism.
