Salary and benefits here are excellent. There isn’t another company that compensates nursing staff as well as Avem including tech pay-some techs here make more than nurses elsewhere. Nurses typically have 3-4 patients and techs generally have 5-8 patients. The nurse manager genuinely cares about floor staff and attempts to accommodate scheduling needs for a large number of staff and self scheduling is available. We are provided adequate equipment and the hospital itself is currently being remodeled.

Fantastic peers and nurse manager

My nurse manager is the best one in years. Great scheduler, listens to us, advocates for us to upper management, and even works the floor when needed if we are short.Pay is great.Nurses get paid great.Nurse techs get paid more than anywhere else I’ve worked while having half the patient load.I work day shift. Nothing beats the comradery of the day shift. It is the most team oriented unit I’ve ever worked on.If you’re looking for great pay, peers, and a nurse manager, Stroud Hospital is the place to go.

Can never get ahold of hr and nurse manager screws up everyone's schedule. The nurses are great and care about their patients. The techs are overworked and under paid.

I accepted an opportunity to work here, a lesser known company and it was one my best decisions ever. There is constant growth, I'm challenged consistently and our team receives great support from leadership, including fiscal support for my projects!

Productive and Some great coworkers

Had improved in many ways due to VERY STRONG Human Resource Management Support. I felt very accomplished as well as confident within myself and the support of certain coworkers. Sadly I was being bullied by a group of coworkers WITHOUT Support of Unit Manager in fact I had I not the support of one particular reliable Charge Nurse and Human Resource Management it would have been far more difficult to maintain job security the 2.5 years I managed to make it through. I often worked extra hours and feelings of Loyalty with ability to comfort Patients,Family Members and doing my part to represent the company by following their expectations and standards.

Unstable management

Upper management is constantly changed and there is no stability. They don’t listen to their employees and will drown you in work. Company just throws money at their problems and never fix them. Poorly ran company.
