Good opportunity to work at UCSF as a temp, but doesn't guarantee a permanent position.

The application and interview process went really well when the recruiter reached out to me. The onboarding process was thorough with the assignment and placement. You will be placed at a UCSF facility as a temp for 3 months and will be floating when the permanent workers need coverage. It was a great experiencing learning and seeing if UCSF was a facility that you want to work at. However, you will not be guaranteed a permanent position at the end of it. So, do be wary about that aspect if you're looking for a long term career with benefits.

Great to work with

Job hunting is the most gruelling experience if you have no prior work experience or freshly graduated from college. Although I barely had any work experience they were able to find a job offer within 1-2 weeks after getting hired by Avispa.

Great Contracting Company!

My overall experience with Avispa was very positive from beginning to end. My recruiter was very professional, responsive, supportive, and cared about my success with my interviews. He checked in with me before and after my interviews with the client company, was able to negotiate a higher pay for me, and was very transparent throughout the process.

People-oriented and caring work environment

I am grateful for the work experience and the culture Avispa Technology foster. My recruiter has always been there to support me and answer any concerns I have. He reaches out with check-ins to see how I am doing. It really shows how the company cares about its employees. He walked me through every step, from recruitment and pre-employment to the very last stage, where my contract ended.At Avispa Technology, you can feel that everyone cares for you. The entire team is there to support you. Highly organized and professional work environment. I would definitely recommend working with them!

The training given is on point and helpful when I first started. Many staff are open to answering questions, when they have free time. I’ve also learned many skills such as scanning, faxing, entering information, and using Apex.

Great Company with Great People

The company was really nice in terms of communication and them reaching during the times of process of getting hired. Another is how they check in with me during the times I worked during the day. Just to make sure that everything is going smoothly when I was working. They are really nice people who check in on others.

Great Overall Experience

I was contacted by a recruiter from Avispa Technology about an open position with another company. After a brief phone call I was setup for an interview. The whole process was quick and smooth. The team members at Avispa have been very helpful in answering my questions and following up with me. I would definitely recommend working with them.

What is the best part of working at the company?The Recruiter I had was phenomenal. Always checking up on me, giving me awesome info and also if he wasn’t sure about something he would find out about it for me. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?If youre applying during holiday be ready to not hear a lot back, but my recruiter kind of had me prepared for that.

Highly efficient team with wonderful teammates

I had a wonderful experience working with Avispa team. I was first contacted by a technical recruiter and she was very professional yet helpful throughout the whole recruitment process. I was then connected with their HR Operations lead and she supported me well in all the internal processes. Overall, it was indeed a great experience collaborating with the whole team, will definitely recommend Avispa Technology to others!

Responsive, and Friendly

A recruiter from Avispa reached out to me about a position with Linkedin. The entire process from speaking with the recruiter, and scheduling an interview to hire was fast and smooth. Also, the recruiter kept checking with me to make sure I know the next steps. I asked questions and can get a response within minutes. Overall, great experience.

Great Experience

I had a great experience with the recruiters and staff at Avispa Technology. Overall, was a pretty hands off approach with them as a contracting company but they would accommodate to any needs or requests. I'm glad they reached out to me with the opportunity and were very straight forward.

Supportive, Informative, and Overall Amazing!

Avispa reached out to me regarding an employment opportunity with UCSF. I accepted their offer and they immediately began the training process while keeping me updated about next steps. After I was given my first assignment, Avispa continues to provide support and encouragement. The employees are kind and always willing to help by answering my questions and giving advice.

Great First Job

Avispa truly helped me find a position that I enjoy. I was a recent undergraduate post-grad when Avispa first reached out to me and was trying to figure out what I even wanted to do. Then one of Avispa's recruiter's reached out to me and from there the process was pretty fast and their team was very supportive the entire time. My questions were always answered in a timely manner and never did I feel that I was asking them silly questions. I went from being a temp worker at UCSF to now being a permanent employee and I'm truly enjoying my position. I would definitely recommend Avispa!

Amazing Contract Experience

Avispa reached out to me at a strange time in my life. The world changed due to the pandemic, and I was in a high stress role at the time. Avispa helped me get hired as a contractor, which lead to a full time employee role. The long version of that story is this company took a guy who was in a troubled spot due to losing friends and family to the pandemic, and helped him reset his life on a better path. The staff is incredibly understanding, Rothman Monayco the CEO cares about his people, and contractors. Its been one of the best experiences of my professional career, and without Avispa I wouldn't be where I am now. If they reach out to you, take the call. If you are unsure where to go with you career, get a hold of them, they will help you reach your goals.
