Poor leadership, lack of direction, dishonesty and deceit from admin
Accounting Clerk (Former Employee) –  Voorhees, NJFebruary 28, 2019
The new administration with Axia is horrific. The big thing now is transparency and communication and honesty. Meanwhile the new admin are the least honest and transparent. Forget trying to get answers. Apparently it's ok to hold a position of power and not respond to people. It was impossible to get work done because it was a constant battle of waiting for someone else to respond or give something in order for you to be able to complete something. No one had any sense of urgency or care for that matter. It was routinely putting out fires and constant stress. No one wanted to take ownership of anything and most of the time I left wondering what my job was and if I was doing something wrong because there was no clear guidance, direction or answers. There was constant working overtime. There was also promise of raises and promotions etc that were never followed through on. Stear clear of this company if you dont want to be stressed out over worked, underpaid and under appreciated.
Pros
Flex schedule, generous pto if you have time to use it with trying to keep head above water with workload.
Cons
Poor leadership

Wrong people are in charge/office is a mess
Medical Assistant (Former Employee) –  Moorestown, NJFebruary 18, 2019
The wrong people are in charge, the office managers are too young and extremely catty and immature. They always have attitudes when you ask them to explain something more then one time. The girls they hire to train you do not train correctly, and also you only have two weeks to learn everything imaginable, even if you’ve never had any experience. The doctors have favorites and it shows...the entire office is extremely immature and you aren’t treated very nicely. The office managers gossip about employees on the phone when you’re within hearing range. The one receptionist will fax over inappropriate pictures to the other office location usually making fun of someone with a disability. They also have a picture of an ex employee hanging up in the one office making fun of her. You feel like you’re living in the movie mean girls, and you definitely don’t get paid enough money to deal with how you’re treated. If you aren’t in their click good luck making it more then a year because you’ll either get some bogus write up or you’ll quit yourself. Also the doctor takes a half hour out of your pay each day for a “break” that you do not get, you’ll sit and work through your so called lunch break and never actually get a break. Also, the office manager is extremely unprofessional and will yell or correct you in front of patients, almost as if she wants the patients to know you are messing up. The doctors were okay, not great. Don’t even bother going to Axia HR to get them to do anything for you, they do not care how you are treated at the office.

Gone down hill
Administrative (Current Employee) –  New JerseyFebruary 4, 2019
This company used to be great to work for, but with the recent changes and constant turnover, it has been rough. The workload is extremely high per person and there is no work-life balance. The workload would be doable for a while if there were incentives or recognition for going above and beyond, but there is not.

Watch your back!
Medical Assistant (Former Employee) –  Phoenixville, PAJanuary 27, 2019
Unappreciated, overworked environment. Treated as a grunt. Corporate office is Jersey is clueless. Need to reorg the whole company and lose some of its dead weight. People have been there forever from other entities with little or no new skill. Mobbing mentality. Treat their medical assistants as dummies (can you clean a microwave?) and cleaning is mostly all they do, especially dirty, nasty, bloody things all day long. Doctors and management have no respect for you, thank you, next? Coworkers report you for an innocuous comments to your supervisor for job security or because they just don't like you. Elite outer offices and nurse look their noses down to you for doing the same job, except between themselves, where they tell each other how pretty they are and comb each others hair.

nominal salary

lack of professionalism

I had good time at Axia .I enjoyed the work and the people are nice. The organisation is located in Voorhees. My role was to analyse the data and report to the Higher Management and take appropriated action to increase the revenue.

Patient Service Representative (Former Employee) –  East Brunswick, NJJanuary 17, 2019
The call volume is insane. Constantly short staffed and management doesnt care that there are 16 ppl in que waiting to schedule an appointment they leave 3 ppl to take calls for 2 offices! which in unfair. Very stressful. Lots of drama from other employees. Everything is he said she said. Lots of favoritism. Do not work here!

Patient Service Representative (Current Employee) –  East Brunswick, NJDecember 16, 2018
Stressful work environment . Rules apply differently for each staff member and guidelines change constantly . Management invents different guidelines by the minute.Senior employees are disrespectful, rude, and lazy. Everyone thinks they’re the boss and no one really knows what’s going on. There is no true order to this specific office.

Manager (Current Employee) –  Voorhees, NJSeptember 11, 2018
Pretty new company and growing fast. Some growing pains, but management seems genuine about a cool vision to use our size to help patients and build a like-minded community who really cares about patients.
Pros
Serious about taking care of patients.

Still going through growing pains

It Was an Okay Company
eClincal Works Consultant (Former Employee) –  South East PA and NJAugust 20, 2018
Axia was an okay opportunity. The upper management team on the corporate side is very unorganized and lacks direction. The project manager lacked confidence and deflected questions that were asked from her.

Non-Professionalism and Favoritism
Billing Specialist (Former Employee) –  East Brunswick, NJJuly 29, 2018
There were cliques among co-workers and Management. Horrible place to work with low salary and no career advancement. The staff and management were friends in and out of work and it was clearly Obvious! The old timers.were condescending when speaking and they were only knowledgeable in one area. However, they professed to know everything! Horrible, horrible place to work. This place is a entry level. Get in , learn what you can then get out!!

Field Support Technician (Former Employee) –  Voorhees, NJJuly 21, 2018
The changes that were brought on were not brought to the table until two weeks prior to changes were to take place and the people effected had to re-interview for their jobs. Just about everybody that stood against the decision were almost dismissed. I saw 10+ people find other jobs and walk away from the company with relief.

Stiving to build a new organization
EIM Project Manager (Former Employee) –  Oaks, PAJuly 6, 2018
Axia is a new company and as such is running very fast to build itself. The pace is demanding but not unexpected for a startup. You need to accept this and be a self-starter and independently driven. The old saying "Ask for forgiveness before permission" applies. Patience is required

Autonomy

Cherry Hill OB/GYN
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  Mount Laurel, NJJune 16, 2018
Most of the docs are cool, but management behaves like they are out to call you out o n ever little thing you may do wrong just by mistake!!
MA'S are treated like they are the enemy's, management has a lot of little spies around the office writing reports on the ma's all day!
Why can't they just politely correct them like a normal person would, instead they are called in the office and made to fell incompetent!! You can't trust anyone!
Pros
I wish I had one to give!
Cons
Can't trust anyone

State of flux with confusing leadership
Former (Former Employee) –  Voorhees, NJMay 9, 2018
Managements focus is to improve the bottom line at all cost. Concern for the patient is at the employee and physician level but not managements concern. There is a lot of favoritism and unfounded criticism.. Good career stepping stone if you can tolerate the culture for a year or two, but will burn out if staying any longer - unless you fit their particular ‘profile’.
Pros
Physicians and employees empathy for patients
Cons
Confused company with no clear direction

Great physicians, bad salary
Medical Assistant (Former Employee) –  Malvern, PAApril 26, 2018
I've been with this group way before they became Axia and prior to the merge, this was a great place to work..the salary has always been so-so but you worked for great people. Now it is a thankless job, with extra work and no compensation. To do my job correctly, and to make sure the patients are taken care of, sometimes overtime happens. Instead of thanking for handling things, you get reprimanded. Thought this was about the patient experience and not greed..

True story
Billing (Current Employee) –  Voorhees, NJApril 6, 2018
Overworked and underpaid. You seek help with human resource about issues and concerns, they don't help. A lot of favoritism, back biting. Extreme large volume of work that's impossible to get things done. Team leads don't have your best interest. Your either on your own or your winning because of who you know. Anybody says different theu are lying. Very cut throat place, all while being stressed and under paid. They offer health, but we pay a pretty expensive penny for the coverage. Would not recommend.
Pros
Flex time
Cons
Underpaid overworked and no overtime to catch up
