A BRIEF HISTORY
In October 1985, AZP | Multifamily was established to distribute general maintenance supplies within the apartment industry. Our founder, Dave Schlecht, built AZP | Multifamily from his home garage with only a few products.
In only three years, the company was ready to move to a five-thousand square foot warehouse in Glendale, AZ. It was clear that a commitment to our customers and the community we work in was something missing from the industry. The AZP | Multifamily team was serving customers in a way unknown to the rest of the industry.
In 1995, in a day before everyone had access to the internet, AZP | Multifamily published our first catalog. Development of our catalog came from our commitment to make supply management easier for our customers and give us a way to serve them better. It took us a year to get it right, but our second catalog published in 1996 was a tremendous success for our customers and our team.
As a regional supplier to the MRO industry, we committed ourselves to serving our customers with same-day delivery in every community we serve. We knew that to bring same day service; we would need to have a local warehouse in major metropolitan areas and in 1995 we opened our second warehouse in Tucson, AZ.
Since that winter in 1995, we’ve strategically opened local warehouses in 13 communities, in 8 states.

Co-workers are very friendly, day to day is basically the same unless asked to do something else. The pay was fair in my opinion and you're always guaranteed at least 40 hours a week, overtime is easy to get.
I started as a temp at Az Partsmaster, and worked for my 90 days, then I was hired on with the company full time. When I started, I immediately felt comfortable in the job, and with all the people that I work with, from the office staff, sales reps, to the managers. The branch manager is a great guy, down to earth and easy to talk to, but also stern when it comes to work, which is the way it should be. The warehouse manager is the same. They both listen, and if you have an issue, they help you figure it out. If you make a mistake, they help you to fix it, so you don't make it again!
AZP gave me a shot with very little work experience 9 years ago and the more I've put into it the more I've always gotten out of it. There's tons of area's to learn and grow from deliveries to warehousing and fabrication. I highly recommend working there.
Family feel, held together by tradition and integrity. Management has grown and so has the company. Good overall environment. Team dynamic with peers.
I enjoy the work culture here. If not I wouldn't be here as long as I have been. My manager is flexible with my schedule when is needed. Good work life balance and enjoy the people I work with..

In sales they ask for your experience in the multi family industry and what you can bring to table. Which is expected. I can't speak for the warehouse interview.
