Global HRIS Coordinator (Former Employee) – Boston, MA – July 19, 2018
I enjoyed the culture of the company and the work hard play hard attitude while I worked at the company. I can't imagine doing it today now that I am raising a child. There is a split between the consultants and the administrative operations which can create some tensions.
Call Agent (Former Employee) – Boston, MA – May 30, 2018
Can't speak for the company as a whole but Indeed makes me do this so: Temp work here is boring and brutal- you sit in a room with a few other temps all asking people to complete surveys and most just get mad you're calling. Nice folks who work here though and free lunches/coffee/tea/cereal etc are great. They are also very flexible and lax if you need to leave early, take other calls etc.
Graphics Specialist (Former Employee) – Los Angeles, CA – May 1, 2018
Enjoyed co-workers and found managing partners to be friendly and accommodating. The disagreeable aspect of the job was having to make graphical documents of little value for consultant trainees knowing our time was being billed to clients.
Market Research Surveys (Former Employee) – San Francisco, CA – January 20, 2018
This was a temporary assignment week (2 weeks) working with a Great team and Manager, Market research and surveys, enjoyed talking to fun, interesting folks from all around the country. Free breakfast and snacks, gorgeous views of the bay/embarcadero and fisherman's wharf from this Embarcadero Center Building office.

liaison for consultant teams (Former Employee) – Washington, DC – January 11, 2018
A typical day at Bain was fast paced and fun. Every staff member was willing to be part of the team an help each other promote the interest of the company. Amazing place to work and develop a community.
Volunteer (Former Employee) – Bainbridge, GA – December 20, 2016
While the overall mission is wonderful, the skills needed to work in this century were missing by entire staff.Program manager became angry for me moving checks and confidential information to the locked file room!
Manager (Current Employee) – San Francisco, CA – November 5, 2016
Best training and learning environment immediately out of undergrad; great place to grow and learn for many years. Excellent people who are humble, kind, and exceptionally smart. People work hard and are intensely focused on delivering great results for clients, but also do not take themselves too seriously and know how to have fun together in the process.
Research Associate (Former Employee) – South Beach – March 12, 2016
I have the best team ever during my stint at Bain. My colleagues are very thoughtful and supportive. The working environment is professional. We all have one common goal of giving best-in-class service to our internal and external clients.
Data Entry Office Team (Former Employee) – San Francisco, CA – February 23, 2016
Very nice atmosphere a lot of career orientated young professionals. A typical day included cold calling clients asking a question about their software vendors. The hardest part of the job was getting clients to sit through countless questions. The most enjoyable part of the job was the location and the office itself.
Great place to work as long as you don't stay long
Associate Consultant (Former Employee) – New York, NY – September 8, 2015
Work life balance here is somewhat of a mythical creature. Always talked about within teams, yet elusive in actuality.
The work itself can be very interesting, and the folks you get to work with and alongside are great. However, teams aren't always crafted wisely. Poor team management (and a lack of proper communication skills) can lead to highly volatile experiences from project to project.
