Diverse and welcoming work environment
While the work can be fast paced, they are flexible with taking time when needed. The holiday, personal, sick and vacation time are very generous after the first year. They have a great employee assistance program and value peoples dedication. Unfortunately they are struggling with competitive wages. However they do try to compensate where they can.

Excellent trainings and education. Puts best foot forward in being a great example of what human services should be.
I believe the years I worked at Bamsi helped prepare me for working in the human services field and taught me what was really the goals and purpose behind what we do.

Just another Residential House
Nothing better, nothing worse than any other in-home, residential house for people with disabilities. Staff is good. Clients are good. Definetly has its issues, like any place does. If issues arise, things might get better for a short period of time but things fall right back into the same BS. Lack of communication in most areas is a common problem. Always staffing issues. Lots of entitlement issu...
