The upper management in the corporate offices are not very helpful. You do not get a lot of free time, so the work/life balance is horrible. There is not a lot of opportunities to advance.

I have learned a ton about veterinary medicine that I didn't know before I started working. I have learned how to deal with upset clients and how to handle a situation of a dog being put to sleep. The hardest part of the job is helping a client say goodbye to their furry friend. The most enjoyable part of the job is seeing the puppies and kittens.
