Positive and fair workplace that allowed room for some fun
Teller (Former Employee) – Charles Town, WV – May 20, 2013
A typical day of work at the Bank of Charles Town is always very cheerful. The managers and president of the bank are personable and always make note to have employees feel more than welcomed and appreciated. The hardest part of the job was dealing with difficult customers when it came to their money handling skills, or lack thereof. The most enjoyable part of the job was the closeness between the tellers and the customers, as well as everyone as whole.

Would not recommend working here if you plan on wanting advancement in the company. The pay is very low compared to the competing banks. There is always people being hired and that should say something to the company. Management is not good.
Paid time off that is accumulated throughout the year

You'll only receive 4 days off a month with an occasional holiday. You've been warned. Low pay and benefits. Low pay and benefits relative to the industry. Poor on-boarding and training. Incredibly high turnover. Inexperienced management. Truly poor health insurance package.
This is a small bank with a handful of branches yet they're aggressively hiring all of the time on indeed. So either they're rolling in fortunes or they have institutional problems that effect retention. Take your gamble.
