Mortgage Processor (Former Employee) –  Valparaiso, INJune 13, 2018
I was really excited to start with this company. After being there for months there was no work flow or training offered. I had to learn by mistakes and train my self. It was a hostile environment

Day to day operations weren't always smooth. Mostly self taught and trained. Workplace was a decent environment. Most enjoyable was learning a new industry from start to finish.

I enjoyed working for this lender. Their processing times are slower than would have liked.
Due to a relocation I left this lender but would recommend them to someone.

Branch Sales Manager (Current Employee) –  Melville, NYMarch 1, 2018
Every day offers different challenges. Management team is hands off but available when needed. The workplace is my home office and out meeting referral sources i.e. Realtors, Attorney's, CPA's.
The hardest part of the job is breaking into a new territory and developing relationships with business partners. That is also the most enjoyable part of the job.
Pros
Great products, turnaround time.

Sr. Mortgage Banker (Current Employee) –  Troy, MISeptember 21, 2017
After 14+ years as a Loan Officer, you know what things should and shouldn't be happening with a successful company. I have been working with BOE Mortgage for 5+ years for a reason. Every company has their pros and cons but the pros here massively outweigh the cons. Plus it doesn't hurt that the comp plans are good!
Pros
Laid-back company that wants to work as a team. Good comp plans, flexibility, and benefits.
Cons
Not many but sometimes a lack of communication causes confusion or hiccups.

I would not recommend working at BOE. If you can find another job then do it! This branch is very unprofessional and the management/boss are very rude.

quiet

Compliance Assistant (Current Employee) –  Little Rock, ARFebruary 6, 2017
It's an ok place to work at, but parking is difficult. Depending on the department, it's very laid back and flexible. The most enjoyable part of the job is the holiday parties.
