One of the best Mental Health Community in South Florida

Working days was always busy at Banyan Health Systems. I learned a lot about the mental health community in South Florida. Banyan has a multi-cultural workforce, and they care a lot about cultural competence. Every body who holds a degree is welcome, it doesn't matter who you are or where you come from. BHS provides the best training for employees. IT some time didn't work well. Excellent co-worker. BHS always is trying to get the best in terms of evidence based practice on mental health and substance abuse. I will always be grateful to Banyan

High turnover, short-staffed, poor/condescending management and communication, highly disorganized, lies about or significant sudden changes in benefits, poor training and guidance.
Compensation is okay, physical environment is nice, majority of clients a pleasure to work with

As a worker you are nothing if you aren't part of administration. Short staffed, over worked, under payed, horrible compensation if you work hard.

Lets start from the top corporate sees you as something they have to get as much out of as quick as possible . Most new hires do not stay in this company only people with no other choice stay with this company and weather the abuse.

Administration such as supervisors are non-existent when a problem arises and will try to make the problem seem as if it was your own fault. such as clients not being on forms to be allowed out which would be due to administrations lack of care for the clients.

Asking for your paid time off is seen as the worst possible thing to do if your not high end staff. I have had many instances of my time off being approved months in advance just to find out days before that they changed their minds about allowing your days off.

Training is never hands on its all power points from like 2010. Training must be done on your own free time because you will be always busy when at work.

You will not help or guidance from co-workers or supervisors until they see that you have done something wrong and at that point they treat it as something punitive when you just want to learn how to do the job right.

Many times other workers will call out and responsible workers will be taken advantage of and be forced to come in on days off and while at work your co-workers will try to pawn off your work as their own and will sell you out the moment something goes wrong and to cover their own backs.

It is also assumed that you must know how to do things off the bat my first day here my co-workers were not happy that some one new started because they would have
  more... to show them how to do the job.


Honestly a pretty unsafe work environment.
You get payed on time, Only pro
Their is no good leadership in this company just a boss.
