Because of the fact that it seems like they just a warm body to fill the position of Store Leader and that leads to alot of turnover because those leaders do not work out, Team Leads are not respected, listened to and hard work is not appreciated at this store, the rude Store Leaders and other employees that do not value their jobs, the company will fizzle out eventually. There is more drama at most of the stores then there is a team that is supposed to be working together to provide excellent customer service and make goals
Respect faithful employees, listen to employees when they bring problems to the higher ups attention, stop hiring just anyone..especially store leaders that rip the company off or treat employees under them like they are nothing, do drug testing
If you were in charge, what would you do to make Bargain Hunt a better place to work?
I would show gratitude towards my employees. Without your employees their would be no Bargain Hunt to take care of the customers.
What is the vacation policy like at Bargain Hunt? How many vacation days do you get per year?
You get 10 PTO hours at the end of each month if you are a team lead. You lose them if you quit. You also lose them if you step down to associate.
It’s a wonderful place to work and keep busy and enjoy what you are doing. Don’t watch the clock, if you have. 30 minutes until the end of you shift, clean up and put things back in their proper place don’t hide in the bathroom or break area.
Local management was wonderful. But corporate management always had different ideas on how the place should be organized but the products they wanted us to use would go to a different store. But we did our physical best to do what they wanted.
