I don't remember getting interviewed besides over the phone. The first day I went in was for orientation.

Answered

They don't accept paper resumes at the store anymore, due to privacy issues (i.e. not letting your personal info lay around the break room LOL).

But do apply online, then go to your store and ask for the hiring manager. Meet, talk briefly, tell them you've applied and indicate your enthusiasm. It paid off for me. There is NO substitution for putting a face behind an online application!

Answered

Answer honestly. I was so nervous and shaky and I still got the jobs. It just depends on your personality and if they think you'll work good there.

Answered

It depends on how good you are. Most everyone stays after seasonal. Me and another girl were hired at the same time. She did not stay after holiday because after a month, she still didn't understand it.

Answered

Answered

Anywhere from a day to several weeks to not at all depending on the position and how quickly they want/need to fill it.

Answered

I went for the barista job today. The first questions was what books are you reading? Then if I had a YouTube channel, what would it be about? Name a time when you had to take a different approach with a customer, which confused me lol what would you do if was slow? Why should I pick you?

Answered

Be prepared to know about books. The interview will ask you how you would sell a book and what your'e favorite book is. When they ask you a question that you wouldn't be sure about, the answer is, "I would get or ask a manager."
