Management is ATROCIOUS. LIED to about my pay rate until my first day, when inquired about was told it is what it is. Even working with cafe manager, you work BY YOURSELF. For minimum wage, should have at least one other employee scheduled. Managers ask too much and get mad if you cant live up to their standards. HATED being employeed here.

From my experience, there were periods of "slow" days, however, with that being said, there was plenty of work to be done. We stayed pretty busy at my store, whether there was a customer in the building or not. It was not difficult to keep busy. When you first start, it could seem a little slow bc you're still learning how things operate so you can only do so much until you're taught, but once you're comfortable, you will find tasks that need completing. That was one of the things I really enjoyed when working for B&N.
