I was a dishwasher/kitchen aid employee, well sort of. I ended up doing way more work than I was paid for compared to the other employee in the same position, I not only washed dishes and cleaned as in my job description but ended up breaking down banquets, cleaning up other buildings, and setting up tables. I was doing what three people normally do there at a very fast pace. I quit after two weeks from the stress and pace of the job. I am over 50 and was expected to work like everyone else that was 20 to 30 years younger and be complained at for working too many hours. This is also the dirtiest kitchen I ever worked in. Would not recommend to anyone. Big turn-over every year no one returns. Also, good luck getting your breaks when required.
