Fast-paced and intense

I experienced very minimal office politics. The admin are supportive of reputable teachers and will handle overbearing / aggressive parents.
The atmosphere is fast-paced and intense. I struggled to find time for lesson prep. BASIS.ed currently runs very lean staff-wise due to the disproportionately low funding of AZ public charter schools.
The hardest - more ... part of teaching above grade level is making sure the curriculum is accessible to all students, whether or not they have an IEP or 504. The most enjoyable part of the job is having the freedom to adapt/author lesson plans so that nothing is h ... - less
ProsHigh parental support, academic freedom
ConsThe job can be very intense
