Receptionist (Current Employee) – Bay Area, CA – June 1, 2018
Doesn’t matter if you do the job duties, follow healthcare laws and try to communicate with management. This company has HR, but doesn’t protect your job since all the offices are managed independently. Try going on different interviews before signing on. Very unprofessional.
Billing Specialist (Current Employee) – Walnut Creek, CA – February 24, 2018
I enjoy working at BASS, I know the work I do is important to the patients & doctors lives. The company is growing very fast & gets kaotic at times & can be very stressful. Most employees are knowledgeable in their duties & work well together.
Medical Biller/Medical Assistant (Former Employee) – Sacramento, CA – February 20, 2018
Loved the employees I worked with, loved my hours and loved the variety of job duties. Extremely poor management as "Manager" was simply a job title and nothing more because the owner had a severe lack of trust for his employees. Processes and procedures constantly changed at the owners whim and it was demanded that his employees answer his phone calls during their personal days off, employees were constantly accused of poor job performance and constantly accused of lack of knowledge of our job duties.
Free lunches, great workmates
Extremely poor management, extremely poor work processes and procedures
Follow-up Representative (Current Employee) – Walnut Creek, CA – December 14, 2017
To repeat some of the other reviews it is very true, Supervisors and Upper Management are untrustworthy and only out for themselves. A lot of head games made with employees. Allows "favorites" to chat all day and joins in on inappropriate behavior. Definitely NOT a professional place to work. No formal training.
Medical Biller (Former Employee) – Walnut Creek, CA – December 9, 2017
Messy messy place to wotk. Some supervisors are just as messy as the staff and upper management. They all talk down on eachother instead of helping eachother that's the bad part. Oh and not to mention some supervisors are best friends with HR therefore anything they hear they go back and repeat instead of doing their job correctly. Although its not the entire company but it still makes the company look bad as a whole.
Managment ahould act as management and not play sides
Reimbursement Specialist (Current Employee) – Walnut Creek, CA – December 5, 2017
All supervisors and upper management treat employees with lack of respect and scare tactics. No Human Resource manager to go to when issues arise. All upper management and supervisors are uncaring and rude. Would not recommend this as a company to anyone looking for new employment. Turn around is very high due to low employee moral.
Medical Assistant (Current Employee) – Walnut Creek, CA – April 19, 2017
It had a great atmosphere. The doctors cared about the patients and the staff. It is a very busy office and the staff and doctors works as a team to make sure that the patients visit is a positive experience.
