The entire staff was cannibalistic A lot of discrimination. The work was mismanaged and one sided. They didn’t believe in following work policies and will work you to death. It was simple Work the management didn’t care about you or what was going on bottom line that’s it.STAY AWAY!!!!!
Overall experience varied on day to day. Some of the management team were very involved and helpful while other could use some improvement. Those that were willing to be involved help me succeed and grown to become a manager. The company overall lacked the ability to train new managers into their roles.
Job seekers rely on your experience.

12 Hours Shifts no days off unless you experience down weather days. Sometimes, you can find yourself do most of the workload. Depending on who is the site lead there can be miscommunication. It gives you an opportunity to work in another country and learn a new culture. Plus, on the job training with free skill programs opportunities.
Battlespace flight services doesnt pay enough to keep decent employees around for very long. Because decent employees move on to better companies, the people who advance at battlespace flight services are not very good at their jobs and are not very good at managing.
They hire anyone
pay isn't as good as other companies, management sucks
Outstandingly undermanned. Constant influx of new hires means you are always training the new guy. Outflow of experienced mechanics/technicians leaves you scrambling to maintain quality production and meet mission requirements. Most of the upper management tend to chase production numbers, even by artificial means, rather than provide an environment conducive for workers to be naturally productive. Note to management: Keep your people happy and they will naturally provide you the productivity you seek. Work harder at keeping your experienced workers and you will maintain the quality you desire.
4mo rotations (120 days deployed, 120 days at home to do whatever you want)
Pay and benefits (healthcare) are only during deployment.

Is Indeed your favorite place to learn about companies?
Great place to work with competitive pay. Fast paced environment, and travel is 100%. Management is constantly revolving, most enjoyable part of the jobs is the travel, typical work days include working in remote locations with limited resources in austere environments.
Management was terrible, they never hired within the company. you would be training someone making twice as much as you yet they had no idea what they were doing. Fin coworkers to work around though and deployments were always a blast.......just the management is the worst i have ever seen. Clearly you can see favoritism, and they dont care about their people. Only thing that kept me around for as long as i did was the money.
Currently working with this company and I dislike it greatly. In fact, I cannot think of one person that can honestly say they love or like working for Battlespace. The pay is garbage, morale is extremely low, hard to get ahold of people at the PSO and not one person in a management position cares about the people below them. They say we are getting standard pay but compare to other companies, we don't make standard pay at all. (ex: Battlespace $220 a day- Lockheed Martin $650). I'm talking deploy pay for 4 months on and 4 months off. I found this information on the Battlespace website "Subsidiary Battlespace Flight Services Awarded Estimated $950M IDIQ Contract for Remotely Piloted Aircraft Support." You mean to tell me you can't pay your employees properly but you do treat them poorly. Good job!!. It is bad enough that we have to fight for our end of deployment bonus pay, per diem, and travel pay. There are massive training issues as well. People aren't trained properly, not signed off on certain jobs that they need to do their job, doing jobs that is not in their job description and management communication issues. The people who have to deploy are doing more with less. What I mean by that is, the manning is poor. Sites are undermanned, 2-3 people are doing the jobs of 6 people. Since working for this company I have seen plenty of people quit on site while deployed and go to other companies that pay more and actually care about their employees. Currently deployed now and the morale is low. There is talk of people leaving during their deployment whether they have another - more...
Pros? I get paid(barely). Some good people.
Revolving door, low pay, low morale, no management, lack of communication between empolyees who deploy and management.
I had met all goals, deadlines and pressures from customers and staff which need to be dealt with carefully through effective time management BUT, if you like victimization, play office politics or like rude behavior. Work for Battle Space Fight!
Sometimes your treated to a free lunch.
Most of the higher ups are undeserving of their paygrade and were only hired because of the buddy system. Owners are not concerned with the wellbeing of the employees and are more concerned with lining their pockets. Due to the recent pay cuts for employees it is no longer worth deploying with Battlespace and dealing with the lack of quality supervision.
Bad pay, prolonged deployments, worthless management
