The lowest I get paid is $26 hr as an LPN so it is competive. I also agree the basic care is not so basic and it would be helpful to have shift or weekend differential

I thought it was but they don’t give annual raises, you don’t get paid for mileage, and it’s $22 an hour for an Lpn across the board. No shift differentials for second or third shift are offered and they say you’ll have cases close to home but then you get sent at least an hour away. I liked it at first but it could be better. It’s feast or famine with hours.

The pay rate could be better. They only have two tiers trach/vent or basic care. You get paid less for basic care which is not so basic when you are dealing with g tubes, suctioning, oxygen, behavioral issues, and crazy family!

I don’t know what people are talking about. As a new PTA I started out at $38 per visit. My friend who has a lot of experience makes $40 per visit with another company. Also you do get .45 cent a mile for traveling. I am very happy with Bayada.

A RN makes as much as a CNA if you're paid $50 per point (equivalent to 2 hours of work)

You're paid $50 per point,
In other words per visit.
It takes a hour on average to get to the home and perform your assessment, dressing change or nursing assignment.
Then lastly another hour to complete the required "oasis" documentation in your little tablet So its two hours of work for $50.
The CNA makes $25 per visit.
Go figure.

No pay is not competitive at all. A CNA with years of experience gets same pay rate as a new aide. Fast food pays more!
