Most departments stay understaffed. Getting new positions approved at Baylor is nearly impossible. This creates a very stressful work environment where you are expected to stay glued to your phone/email 24/7 and carry the workload of 2-3 people. Baylor also has a weak infrastructure for training new employees.
If you were in charge, what would you do to make Baylor College of Medicine a better place to work?
Get rid of the CAO in the Finance Department whom is a Consultant whom doesn't know what she's doing. She got her job because she's friends with the CFO and they hire their relatives and friends in positions when they know they can't do the job.
What is Baylor College of Medicine sick leave policy? How many sick days do you get per year?
2 self certify and after that you have unlimited with doctors note.
How long does it take to get hired from start to finish at Baylor College of Medicine? What are the steps along the way?
It took about one week for me to get hired. They put you in EPIC training classes, a YOU FIRST program, then you shadow someone for a week or two before you are behind the front desk on your own.
